Centrally located for an easy drive to any of North Lake Tahoe’s Ski Hills (Northstar Ski Resort, Palisades Tahoe, and Mount Rose).

This Classic Mid-Century cabin is conveniently located in Agate Bay, one of the North Shore’s most charming neighborhoods. It sits adjacent to conservancy forest land, which conveys a beautiful backdrop of solitude in nature, yet it is only a few blocks walk from the lake and Carnelian Bay shops. Filtered lake views from the spacious deck. Home still retains its original charm and character with exposed beams and vaulted ceilings, large, picturesque windows allowing for plenty of natural light, and a wood-burning rock fireplace. It also has modern-day amenities and updates, including stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, a new washer and dryer, high-speed internet, and two smart TVs.

On the main floor of the cabin, you will find the kitchen and an open living area furnished with comfortable and stylish newer furniture – perfect for relaxing while viewing the snowcapped trees or natural beauty of the surrounding forest on a wintery day. If you prefer, you can head out on the large deck and view some of Tahoe’s wildlife in their natural habitat. It’s certainly a unique experience to be able to enjoy these close encounters with such peace of mind since access to the elevated deck is equipped with Bear Deterrent Wires.  

The home has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The primary suite and its attached bathroom with shower take up the entire top level and overlook the living space below. This bedroom is oversized and features a plush, new King bed with luxury bedding. There’s also a SMART TV and a dedicated work desk in this bright and airy suite. The additional bedrooms are downstairs and share a full bath with tub/shower. Each of these two cozy rooms has a queen bed, dressers for storing your things, and plump sitting chairs. A self-inflating twin air bed can also be set up in the primary bedroom or living area for a 7th guest.

One of Tahoe’s best restaurants, Garwoods (known for its wet Woody’s) is just a couple of minutes away along with, a supermarket, local shops, casinos and night life.

Bring your skis and enjoy the snow! Palisades Tahoe, Northstar Ski Resort, and Mt. Rose are easily accessible from this central location!

POLICIES & DISCLOSURES

  1. Advertised Monthly Rate includes housekeeping and all utilities except SNOW PLOW SERVICE, NATURAL GAS & ELECTRICITY. See Agent for specifics.
  2. Deposit equal to one month’s rent with ski lease term paid upfront.
  3. Parking for 2 or maybe 3 vehicles in the paved, flat driveway. Street parking is prohibited year-round.
  4. AWD/4WD vehicles are strongly advised during the winter months.
  5. The cabin is equipped with electrified bear wires that must be turned on when the house is empty.
  6. Cabin is not equipped with a dishwasher or cable service. 
  7. Renter’s Insurance required for the duration of the ski lease term.
  8. Snow Plow Contract to be obtained by Owner once lease is signed. Tenant shall reimburse owner for the cost of pro-rated seasonal service.
  9. Firewood is not provided but can be purchased locally. 
  10. No pets permitted.

• 9 months $3,975/month (cannot start before September 2025)
• 8 months $4,125/month (cannot start before October)
• 7 months $4,350/month (cannot start before November)
• 6 months $4,460/month (cannot start before December)
• 5 months $4,600/month (cannot start before January 3rd 2026)
• 4 months $4,700/month (cannot start before February)
